Project Pivot

Developed with the Columbus Museum of Art under the auspices of the Institute for Learning Innovation, Pivot is a four-year longitudinal study that investigates the impact of visual arts and co-teaching on critical thinking and standardized test scores. In its pilot year, Pivot is currently working with 75 freshmen at ACPA. Key to the program’s design are full-immersion visits to the CMA and co-teaching opportunities with ACPA and CMA educators. This November, Pivot was awarded with the Ohio Best Innovative Practice Award.
