Señora Rivas, more commonly referred to as “Seño”, lives and breathes anything cultural. Her hobbies are salsa dancing and eating international food but her passion is teaching Spanish. With a degree in Spanish Education from Otterbein University, six months experience in Argentina and two years teaching as a bilingual assistant in the public school system in Spain, she is so excited to share her love of Spanish and latino cultural with ACPA.
Señora Rivas believes strongly in providing her students with an immersive experience in the Spanish language and culture, with students signing a “No English Contract” in their second year and finishing the year with the ability to communicate in most social interactions. She believes the tradition of acceptance and tolerance at ACPA is the perfect environment for fostering cultural awareness.
