Graduation Course Requirements
ACPA course of study are as follows:
- 4 English credits
- 4 Math credits
- 4 Science credits*
- 4 Social Studies credits**
- ·5 PE credit
- .5 Health credit
- 3 Foreign Language credits (or 4 credits in 2 languages)***
*Science credits must include Physical Science, a Life Science, and an Advanced Science
**Social Studies credits must include US History, American Government, and World History (for students in classes 2021 and beyond)
***Students are required to take a foreign language during their 9th and 10th grade year, and continue either to a third year of the same language or two or more years of a different language
PE Credit is available through yoga at ACPA completing an independent credit flex, which consists of logging the required hours and an in-school exam. Credit Flex packet is available here.
Health credit is available through the health course offered at ACPA or by completing the independent health credit flex which consists of a study guide an in-school exam.
Rare exceptions to the ACPA course of study requirements will be made on a case by case basis only and will require a meeting with administration.
