The City of Columbus has announced its 2023 MLK Youth Oratorical Contest! Please see below for information.
Date: Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the CCAD Canzani Center (60 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43215) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Prize: Winners of the City of Columbus Youth Oratorical Contest will have the opportunity to present at the MLK Jr. Breakfast and City of Columbus Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. program. They will also move on to compete in the Statewide MLK Youth Oratorical Contest in April 2024.
How to Submit: There are three ways to submit completed registration form and oration:
- Via email (PDF format) to GAGray@columbus.gov
- Via mail to City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods c/o Gale Gray 1410 Cleveland Ave, 2nd Floor, Columbus, OH 43211
- Drop off at the Department of Neighborhoods office (1410 Cleveland Ave, 2nd Floor, Columbus, OH 43211)
Deadline to submit is 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023.
