March Principals' Message
Happy March! As we welcome the vibrant season of spring, we have some exciting dates and activities to look forward to this month.
First up, mark your calendars for Share Day on March 18th. This will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to watch PUFFS and our students to show what they've been learning and creating.
Also, a reminder that the last day before Spring Break is Friday, March 21st. Let’s stay focused and finish strong before we enjoy a well-deserved break.
For our 8th graders, the trip to Chicago is scheduled for April 16-18. It’s going to be an educational and fun experience, so get ready to explore and learn!
I’m particularly impressed with how hard our middle schoolers have been working on their Executive Order projects. These projects are not only helping them understand recent executive orders but are also gearing them up to defend their perspectives in the upcoming debates. Students: Keep up the great work! Your efforts are preparing you to be thoughtful and informed citizens.
Let's make this month one of growth, discovery, and joy. Spring into action, and let’s show what being a part of our school community is all about!

Social Worker vs. School Counselor: Which one is right for my needs?
- Mental / Behavioral health / Social Emotional services and resources
- Psychiatric / Behavioral crisis or emergencies
- Linkage to community-based resources
School Counselors support students in academic achievement, social-emotional wellness and career/school planning (like high school and college). They can help with things like:
- If you are being bullied or know someone who is
- If you are new to the school and having a tough time
- If you are upset about a family problem
- If you are having trouble with homework
- If you are having trouble with friends
- if you need some time to self-regulate or de-stress in the counselor's office
