ACPA sends regular communications to families in the form of emails, texts, phone calls, social media updates, and more. Classroom teachers may communicate information on their own schedules through a variety of methods such as email, Schoology, and phone calls home.
Newsletters - weekly
Contains important dates, event information, announcements, Caregiver Group updates, College & Career resources, and more.
Text Messages - as needed
Texts range in priority from high (inclement weather and safety alerts, attendance alerts) to low (school-wide reminders). All families are automatically opted into text messages upon enrollment and are an important way to stay connected.
Phone Calls - as needed
Phone Calls may be automated or directly from our offices, and contain the most important and time-sensitive information such as student absence alerts, inclement weather alerts, school lockdown alerts, and more.
Social Media - weekly
ACPA regularly updates our Instagram and Facebook pages with family engagement posts, photos, important dates, event details, and more. This is a great way to tune into the day-to-day at ACPA. This is also one of the places we post school closing information due to inclement weather, so be sure to follow both pages.
